"Fabulous hidey hole"

The lodge was very remote and totally peaceful. The views were amazing, we could see the sunrise from the bed. The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable with everything we needed for a very relaxing Christmas. There was amazing walks from the door and in the surrounding areas. We had to contact the hosts about the Internet as it wasn't connected, but they sorted it out in good time. Their response was very good.

The views in the morning were beautiful, the property was well laid out and had everything we needed. We got to meet two of the horses as well which was nice!

The only thing I can say in regard to this is the flooring in the kitchen where it bows in a little, this could do with fixing, it did nearly cause me to slip over (did get a laugh out of it though so not too bothered). It also seemed that the pipes to the bathroom tap was the wrong way round so that when turned to hot it was cold and when it was turned to cold it was hot. Can’t say that any of these things made me dislike the property though. We loved it.

It was spacious and the views are amazing, it has good facilities inside.

There was lots of dog hair on the floor and we are a pet free family so all the hair got into our clothes. It isn’t signed up and it isn’t lit up Either at all so finding the location was quite tough especially in the dark The internet also didn’t work but we had our own hotspot but if you don’t have this then you wouldn’t connect online

"Unforgettable for all the wrong reasons"

Nothing

The location, the roof leaking, the really small bed, no satellite tv, the really long steep walk to the house as there is no on street parking. The parking at bottom of lane was horrendous
