Nether Farm Barns

Our stay at The Barn was wonderful. Set in beautiful surroundings, the barn was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were so grateful for the special touches provided by Pam and Tamsyn; fresh milk, eggs and bread on arrival. A very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Literally home from home. Great location for the local town with supermarkets and shops. 20 minutes drive through beautiful scenery to Alton Towers.

Self catering with gifts of milk, tea, coffee, butter etc. The location for Ashbourne was perfect - beautiful countryside only 5 minutes drive away from the centre of town.

I liked everything

Lovely! We arrived and were immediately disappointed we weren’t staying longer. We were at ‘The Barn’ and it was so comfortable and relaxing. There were so many thoughtful additions (like the eggs, bread,milk, water and chocolates) and, a shop on site where you could get treats and your bbq choices. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and lots of other beautiful spaces to enjoy. Also really appreciated the binder of information!

Honestly, we have zero complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to come back.

Lovely quiet location. Good communication with hosts. We'll thought out property and relaxing to be there.

The location was great, facilities very good and loved all the extra touches such as the welcome pack. Beds were really comfortable.

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves the exceptional feedback shared by others too. It’s a lovely and spacious property with everything you need to enjoy a little gateway in the English countryside. The beds are comfortable to sleep which I usually find problematic in other places. The mattresses are not too stiff. The host is lovely and exceeds expectations in terms of welcoming products. My son 8 years old loved the farm milk 🥛 The fireplace was my favourite part as adds extra cosines on a rainy day. There M&S food hall within a 3-minute drive. The place looks exactly like in the pictures. It’s extremely clean and cosy. One of the best countryside homes I have seen in the UK.
