Really appreciated the quality of the space and the facilities. No skimping on simple things like soaps, toiletries etc. The Barn was very well proportioned and the standard of decoration and overall finishes - and indeed the ambiance they created - were very high. Also, loved the log burner

The living room, wood burner and setting

The cooking pans and knives could be a better quality. It was difficult to fry properly in the pan. Normal milk in the honesty shop would have been helpful.

"Wonderful weekend in the Peak District ."

Location was ideal to explore Dovedale and the Tissington Trail. We walked into Ashbourne and had a wonderful meal at the Lamplight also some great pubs. The property itself is perfect for a countryside get away. It was a home from home and wonderful to sit and chat around the log fire. Thank you also for the welcome treats. 😊

Nice to be in the countryside, very peaceful.and quite. Very spacious and cosy. Loved how you could purchase local products from the shop. Hosts Pam and Tamsyn were great with all communication. The local products left for us on arrival was lovely as well
