The house is in the countryside but very close to the highway and services. Very nice stay. Very good communication with the host

The location is a little bit far from everything ( you must be with car) and the futon is too thin. It was really uncomfortable to sleep there.

Cozy, quiet, isolated from the city. Well facilitated house with japanese bath, laundry and dryer, kitchen with cooking tools. Customer response is punctual and quick.

Might be a little bit cold if the temperature goes down below zero as there is only one A/C heater for the whole house. Bedroom is on the second floor where is fenced with a few thin metal bars, which maybe dangerous if you have toddler children.

This property allowed us to stay in a more remote part of Japan, with beautiful views. When arriving accessing the property was very easy and convenient, with the host providing great communication in advance and throughout the stay. The accommodation itself is unique and all amenities required are provided. The local community are very welcoming and friendly, making staying in a place like this comforting.

Accessing local transportation without a car can be a little bit tricky. But using the hida-Kokufu train station (located about 2km walk) was the easiest method of getting around and back to takayama. Even in light of the limited transportation, the atmosphere and views in this area are worth it! Walking around the town feels very safe.

A great place to stay, the accommodation provider was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
