Fantastic location in Ambleside with easy access to all the shops/pubs/cafés etc. The place was deceptively big downstairs with plenty of space to relax in after a full day of exploring. Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Would book to stay again.

People have mentioned parking being an issue but all info is clear on here and clear instructions are given of car park options when you book. We easily managed to park outside the property to drop bags off then parked in Lake Road car park with a 3day pass - it's literally a 2min walk away from the cottage.

Location excellent and comfortable property.. Problems sorted out quickly.

No signal for tv and no note to advise of aerial problem. No welcome pack. Price steep for 3 nights.
