The Location was absolutely fantastic, close to shops and bars and the beach was very close too. Yet it was very quiet. Lots of room and storage space. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Well equipped with all we needed in the Kitchen. Extremely helpful host who was very quick to respond to our queries.

Only one shower which was very old and very small but it did work perfectly. The sitting room was a bit dark and dingy and another sofa wouldn’t go amiss.

Very clean, everything we needed was provided, very spacious,excellent location for shops, beach and gardens.

Lots of rules! Needs a bit of touching up - dated, few bits of mould but cosy

The cottage was clean, deceptively large and was well equipped with everything that you have at home and more.. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, We had lovely walks in Bleinheim Gardens which was at the end of road and the town was a few minutes walk just around the corner. The property was dog friendly and even though there were restrictions on Minehead Beach, Blue Anchor Bay and Dunster beaches were less than 15 minutes away by car which were completely dog friendly.

The only thing that let the property down was a strong musty smell. Although there were air fresheners dotted around they did little to mask the smell.. It's always daunting being away from home and sleeping in an area you're not familiar with so I think I would have felt more secure in the property had the door chain been insitu. It appeared that one had been there previously but not replaced.

The cottage is a great size plenty of space and in a great location a short walk to shops and the beach which is perfect.

If you have slight OCD like myself I would say this isn’t the property for you. The carpets could have done with a really good clean, the property has SO much potential but I appreciate the owners want to keep it as old and vintage as possible however so much more can be done with this property. It’s a very old building so smells very old and damp but this could also be the very old furniture too. There was a plug in air freshener close to the fire alarm which set that off a couple of times but was fine once turned off (maybe could benefit plugging this into a different socket). Overall our stay was enjoyable and cosy and my parents enjoyed it. We could smell a strong urine smell which could have been previous guests dogs having accidents so I would say carpets could benefit from a deep clean. Bedside lamp was covered in dust (especially inside the shade which my mom decided to clean) and blinds were very dusty. Photos were taken upon leaving.
