Minehead mews cottage

Very spacious and clean in an excellent location close to restaurants and shops. The park is lovely too with entertainment and a coffee shop. We liked the large front room and modern kitchen.

The shower took a while to heat up and it was hard to regulate the temperature. The bedrooms had a damp smell but this improved by opening windows.

Location close to the high street short walk to beach car parking on property all the equipment that a family and couple needed for there stay we only used the kettle as we were out most of the time and ate out great for families with small children we brought our small dog with us

There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like

The cottage is much larger than anticipated. Its beautiful inside and the layout is quirky but fantastic. Plenty of room inside the bedrooms, excellent bathroom all very clean and nicely presented. Very cosy and warm inside with plenty of sunlight coming through all day long. It was just myself and my Mum staying with our two small dogs but the cottage is very large and plenty of room for a family with children in my opinion. Nice parking space at the property. Location was fantastic too, 2 minute walk to the highstreet with shops and places to eat and then a 2 minute walk to the beach. Three major supermarkets a 3/5 minute drive around the corner too. I would absolutely stay here again

Easy to find and easy to access. The building if full of space, allowing us to relax when we needed to. The accommodation was well kept and really clean - we would love to come back some time.

Didn’t know where to park - this should be included in instructions. Tight parking space for one small car. Downstairs smelt mouldy.

The location of the property was perfect, only a 5 minute walk to the shops and beach. The property is much larger inside than initially expected which was a nice surprise. The beds are very comfortable and the lounge space is large. There’s also lots of free parking close to the property if you come with more than one car.

The property could benefit from some minor improvements where it is a little outdated. Also be aware that the driveway parking is quite tight if you have a large car. However, this did not impact our stay.

The cottage was very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Lack of instructions, damp with wood lice, inadequate kitchen facilities compared to your normal properties. Said dog friendly but no garden or dog area as all rooms carpeted. Kitchen cupboards dirty. Bed was very soft without springs for comfortable sleep. Heating system quite bizarre. Parking difficult.

The location bang in the middle of town, so close to shops, beach, train and well everything. The house was well decorated and clean and comfortable. There was a small space just inside the front door where I could keep and charge my mobility scooter. There is a step up to the front door so if you have a big scooter you won't get it in. We had to carry it over the step as there was no ramp or slope. Would definitely stay again.

There was no shelf in the bathroom over the sink in the double room. I wear contact lenses and needed somewhere to put my solutions bottle when using it. Found this very awkward.

This is our Second visit to Minehead Mews 😍 The cottage is in a fabulous location for us to meet family living nearby, great for local restaurants, quick walk to the beach and shops. Super spacious cottage with excellent facilities. I love the 2 en suites. Double bed was very comfortable. Everything clean and tidy. Owner listened to last feedback and added a full length mirror which was great addition to this break. Thank you 🤗

I wish it was my cottage 🤭
