"Great location to stay in Blakeney."

10.0

Location is fantastic - just a short distance from the quay - which is great for crabbing. The Church is worth a visit, and there is a lovely shop (Picnic Fayre) along the main road in Cley, plus the Smokehouse just round the corner. We always visit them when in Blakeney - we used the live in Blakeney, and my parents are buried there, so it is an annual trip. First time we have stayed rather than a day trip. Would definitely do it again.

Unfortunately, the Delicatessen showing in Google Maps as next door is no longer open, so our breakfast plans went for a bit of a burton. There is a Spar a short walk away though.

"Traditional Blakeney cottage"

8.0

The Bitten is a perfect cottage for a short stay in Blakeney. Situated on the high street. Although as previously stated could do with a bit of an update it was perfect for our stay

Property was perfect for our stay

"Lovely traditional, comfortable cottage. Great location"

7.0

Great location. Quaint, pretty, period property. Comfortable beds. Well equipped.

Cleanliness - could do with a good clean especially bathroom and kitchen. Dishwasher also needs a good clean/fix as everything came out dirty and previous occupants/cleaner had put away everything greasy and dirty so had to wash everything before using. Also was not mentioned there is an adjoining thin door in main bedroom into next doors kitchen - could see the light shining through it. Was woken at six every morning to clattering, microwave noises and the smell of cooking. TV didn’t work well. Stairs to second bathroom and 3rd bedroom are very steep - this was mentioned so was prepared for this and didn’t use.

A quirky period cottage with everything we needed. The location was excellent.

The cleanliness definitely could have been better, especially in the shower.
