2 bedroomed fisherman’s cottage near quay

I liked the location in Blakeney

I was contacted by the owner 2 days before our stay and asked to swap properties. She said because there was better outside space for the dog. I said ok. There was not space for the dog outside! The floor had not been mopped/ swept There were Easter egg wrappers on the chairs Cobwebs in corners of the rooms Unwashed cutlery Bathroom unclean, smelt of mould. Lights not working Noisy neighbours Skirting boards not clean I contacted the owner immediately as I couldn’t bare to take my shoes of let alone sleep on the house, they said they would send in a cleaner the next day. They did not send a cleaner apparently because I did not specify a specific time I rang the rude owner on our return home to ask for a refund or at least the difference between the original booking. But it was a no Very disappointed Blakeney is lovely but don’t stay here.

Not that clean . Dishwasher black mould inside , not 100% in bathroom . Two bulbs missing in 1 lamp & kitchen lamp. Mattress not comfortable.

Pretty cottage. Really close to the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Easy to arrange parking across the road.

Loved it all. It will be our 'go to Cottage' when we stay in Blakeney again. We know Blakeney well so it was ideal an ideal location for the walks we love, excellent eating establishments and very quiet.

Nothing not to like!

I washed up each day by hand as the dishwasher was not working very well, possibly food was blocking outlet from previous user? The walls in the nice bathroom need a good clean!

Great character

We were actually upgraded to Buttercup Cottage in the same road, as work was being done on the Fisherman's Cottage. It was very clean and comfortable.

We liked it all

Lovely location, lovely cottage, tastefully decorated. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, good heating. Useful sensor light at the back.

5pm check in was very late, and in January it is dark so torch needed to find the alley way/door. There was no freezer compartment in the fridge which would have been useful. The floors hadn't been swept when we arrived, nor could I find a brush to sweep up after ourselves, and the microwave hadn't been cleaned.
