Applegrove Country Park, Scarborough

The location is great & the lodge is lovely.

The hot tub jets worked intermittently on the first night, but didn’t work at all on the second night. The hot tub guidance for the control panel is missing, therefore you do not know what button is for what. The windows outside could do with a clean as there are many cobwebs around them.

Tha park was clean and peaceful, just what you need for a relaxing few days away The Lodge was excellent, very spacious, and clean was very impressed with the size and the layout we travelled with 2 dogs and the site had thought of everything good solid fences and loads of room on the decking . Hot tub was brilliant after a full day walking around whitby and Scarborough .

it was lovely and clean and ideally situated for where we wanted to be the single beds were very comfortable and my husband loved the sauna

it was quiet expensive £224.00 for 18 hours stay is a lot the hot tub jets didn’t work it was nice and hot but no bubbles so was just like a bath the double bed was like concrete to lay on didn’t meet any staff so can’t comment on their friendliness but i received messages etc about how to get in

The apartment looked amazing, close to the town centre and lots of things near by for us to do do.

We had to wait for over an hour for someone to come and give us the code to get in the property as they gave us the wrong code, after an hour i worked out the code on my own. "Nobody even turned up to help us get in" The new property that we were staying in had only been there for around 2 weeks and there were so many issues wrong with it, I.e toilet roll holder fell off straight away. The hot water pipe was leaking for the hot tub and blew off on the third day leaving us with no shower. The power cut of twice to the property which they came and sorted quite quickly. There were pieces of wood screwed to the floor to keep the gate open. I actually stubbed my toe twice on that. There was a cable clip sticking out of the floor with a nail in that my son nearly stood on.

The property was clean modern and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was fantastic. it was a smooth and easy process to access the property.

Just the mattress’ on the beds. Seem cheap and was uncomfortable. We could all feel the springs. Other than that everything was perfect.

The location, it was an excellent position for all areas. The dishwasher was also very welcome.

The description said hot tub but it was a Jacuzzi bath, the hot tub was the most thing we were looking forward to. A jacuzzi bath is fine if that’s what it’s advertised at but it wasn’t. The waste was emptied underneath one of the windows and looked awful. The sofas too weren’t comfortable at all. The place was very tired and needed a good clean.

The property was good overall but could do with a clean outside ie windows. Also advise on which takeaways deliver would be helpful. No wifi.
