Barlow Country Club - Mill Farm Cottages

The property was lovely, it had everything we needed. The bedrooms were large with fabulous large beds that were so comfortable. Bathroom with large bath and shower. Outside space offered safe area to let the dog stretch his legs . Joanne was very helpful and friendly . All in all we had a lovely 3 days break and the local pub (Tickled Trout) we recommend a visit , very friendly staff and the Pizzas are excellent.

The perfect location and great walks! Cottage was amazing, cosy and clean Definitely go the ticked trout for food!

The ambience and the location

There could have been some toiletries key in the bath room as there aren’t convenience stores nearby

2 cottages booked both immaculate had every thing we needed lovely walks around the lakes and down to the cafe village beautiful and a great pub nearby

Kitchen utensils, pans, dishes & glasses were great & dishwasher proof glasses. Showers were good. When the shower at the Cherry Tree didn’t have hot water the staff attended quickly to fix.

The outdoor wooden railing was very rickety and not very stable with nails coming out in a few places. Also a few of the metal chairs in garden had very loose screws at the side which made them potentially dangerous to use so we left them to one side. There was no screwdriver to fix them ourselves at the property.
