Bank View next to the Fleece Countryside Inn

Location was perfect for us as it was next to the venue we was attending for a wedding. However, it’s situated on a busy fast road with no street lighting so walking back was tricky.

The central heating was being replaced in the property which we wasn’t aware of. If we would have known this we would have changed our booking. The house was freezing cold and due to this we did not use the hot tub. There was an issue with the electrics which kept tripping and although there was electric heaters these could not be used due to the electrical issue. We had the most uncomfortable stay and left early the following morning.

The views were lovely, decor was nice

Couldnt find the key to get in, only half the hot tub worked and its scalding hot wich made it unenjoyable, the heating in the house didnt work we had a fan heater so the house was cold, stains all over the carpets, slabs in the garden wasnt cemented down properly, the garden was like a building site

Very clean and cosy inside everything was amazing had everything we could possibly need and more the hot tub was just the cherry on top with the most beautiful views I can’t wait to come back the host was so lovely and fast responding!!

Absolutely lovely house with incredible views of the countryside. Hot tub was such an added bonus after a long day. Host was brilliant with check in information and any updates we needed regarding our stay. Would highly recommend this place and will be returning asap.

Parking is abit risky (it is on a 40mph road), I was fine parking outside but aware some people may not feel comfortable. The Fleece Inn are more than happy for you to stay in their car park overnight. Nothing regarding the house/stay itself - was perfect!

The most amazing house with the most amazing views the hot tub is the bonus but the house is beautiful our second time staying it won’t be our last! The host is so kind friendly and will sort any issues out immediately if there was any her contact number is there for if you shall ever need her! Very clean has everything you need! Hot tub was warm when we got there and cleaned shower is lovely and spare towels incase you need them.

Nothing to say bad about the place. It’s simply amazing couldn’t fault it.

The cottage was beautiful and very cosy. Perfect for our peaceful night away. The hot tub and views were amazing. The location was perfect, nice and quiet with the local pub only 2 minutes walk away.
