Swallow Barn

Swallow barn was perfect for us with plenty of space and a brilliant location. Well equipped and comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and told us about things to do and places to eat in the area. The pub in the village was an excellent place to eat.

The decor was beautiful!

Was surprised there was no hand wash in the bathroom! But quickly used the stuff in kitchen instead

Perfectly secluded and self contained everything there, just perfect for a couple. Loved how the garden was secure as we had a dog with us, was lovely and warm upon arrival. The owners are lovely very welcoming.

Nothing that affected our stay but I'd probably add heavier curtains with black out linings to the patio doors and bedroom.

It was nice and cosy. Travelling with a dog isnt always easy and we had a few problems in the local pub because of his behaviour around other dogs but we had a lovely meal in the church inn and amenities in swallow barn were great.Gill and David were good hosts and any problem we did have was sorted out instantly.

I think we were too far out to explore various places we wanted to visit with the dog.
