Swallow Barn

Lovely compact apartment with a small but useable bathroom and well equipped kitchenette. Comfortable bed and good heating with a small tv that has all the expected premium channels. Great communication from the owners who were very helpful when required. Thank you

Very quaint accommodation, quiet location with nice walks on your doorstep. Lovely pet friendly pub serving good food a few hundred yards away 😊

Fabulous Barn, beautiful decor inside, lovely and warm too. Scenery was great especially for December. Close by we’re many places to explore.

The bed was hard but that’s just personal preference.

Really comfy and well equipped little apartment and more spacious than it looks in the pictures! Good food at the local pub and our dog was very happy with the enclosed outdoor space.

Swallow barn was in a great location for us as a base for exploring the Peaks for the first time. It had pretty much everything we needed for our 3 night stay, a comfy, cosy and spacious barn for us and our dachshund! The barn is beautifully decorated and furnished and feels like a home from home, you don’t feel too overlooked either despite being very close to other houses. Chelmorton is a lovely little village, we only made use of the Church Inn pub once which was a lovely little local pub which is dog friendly, can imagine it would be lovely in the summer!

The only (very minor) thing was there was no frying pan available so we had to make do with the grill in the oven and only one small sachet of sugar left in the cupboard. Again a very minor issue that didn’t affect our stay at all!!
