•The garden was NOT secure for dogs. It was only a 1.5feet tall wall which my dog could step over if he wanted, into their own garden where an off lead dog was running around barking on arrival. •Given 1 sugar sachet. •The bed had collapsed on one side so I had to pack it up with all the remaining cushions •A lot of cobweb hanging from the ceilings •No blinds on any skylights and only cheap thin curtains between the rooms which didn’t do anything to block light

Would just benefit from a blind for the roof window as albeit beautiful the sun was beaming in at 6am

The location was very nice and quiet. Swallow Barn was small but very roomy. It was decorated to a high spec. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything that you needed, even directions to a lovely walk for the dogs. It was a really relaxing break for us. The neighbours were nice and friendly, they always say said hello when walking past them. Ideal place for a couple for a break away. I would highly recommend Swallow Barn.

This is such a beautiful little find. So close to buxton. Local pub was great. The owner David was there to greet us and so very friendly. We had our dog with us. The accommodation was just perfect.

Beautiful quiet location with lots of privacy for me and my dog. We had all the amenities needed and beautiful walks a few minutes away. The owners are available if needed as their property is through a tiny gate and they are happy to help. National parks are a small drive away as well as the towns of Buxton and Bakewell all dog friendly. The favourite part of my stay has been seeing and hearing all the beautiful birds pure bliss.

Love the location. The village pub was great. Very quiet, just wot we needed. The barn is very cute, everything u need is there. Outside space was great for our dog ( Bruce the bulldog) Lovely and warm. On our last day, woke up to snow. Which looked lovely.

The only thing I can say is. That it did look bigger on the photos. But like I said,very cute. Also in the morning when it got light, could of done with a blind in the bedroom.
