Quiet, clean, and well equipped. Close to Buxton and to lots of hike trails to enjoy Peak District. It is a small and green place to enjoy a real vacation. Lots of maps and local trip recommendations. Roof windows light the apartment throughout the day, and a special blind blocks the sun in the sleeping area, so it won't wake you up too early. David and Gill are lovelly.

Great host and location, great amenities

At this time of year the skylight brightened the room from 4am, however we had read that a electric blind was being fitted in June, hopefully this will be fitted soon for other peoples comfort.

Swallow barn had everything we needed for a short stay with our dog. Close to Buxton and Bakewell and lots of great walks. Also just a few minutes walks from the pub which served great food!
