Peacock Cottage

The location was great for what we needed , the lane on the approach was narrow but obviously that’s no reflection on the property , I just found it difficult with a large car .

It was cold at times , instructions said not to alter the heating . I didn’t want to bother the owner so I can’t comment if that would have been rectified had I done so . The duvets were quite thin , I think I noticed blankets in the wardrobe when I got the hairdryer this morning when I was leaving so I could have used them had I known about them I guess . I didn’t use the wardrobe as we were only there for 2 nights .

Great to be close to the forest - our dogs loved it!

Cottage is cozy and great location. It had everything we needed for a short stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage, everything was very clean and tidy, collecting the keys was very easy.

The cottage had everything that we needed, it was comfortable, clean and perfect for a little family holiday. It's on a quiet lane with a lovely pub just down the road (the food was soooo good).

Only one small thing to mention which is easily fixed. Some of the roller blinds have seen better days, some had bits of black mould on.

It's so pretty , they returned my jeans that we left behind . Beautiful area

Unsafe door mat so thin and worn .wood panels under sofas so uncomfortable.mouldy blind in bedroom.sheets not ironed , plates worn faded and scratched. Not even a pint of milk left for us . Other peoples discarded ice left in freezer . Very difficult to deal with owner , rude . Every where on house "do not " notices

The cottage was in a lovely quiet location With fabulous forests and the cottage was very well equipped but it would have been good to have a small coffee table or other to put your drinks on in the sitting room

It had a fantastic garden but it would have been nice to have some cushions on that gorgeous wooden seating area
