Peacock Cottage

Very lovely, cosy cottage, really quiet and peaceful area. Everything was clean and tidy - the kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had towels, beds were very comfortable too. The garden was nice and big which the dogs absolutely loved running around in and there's a forest nearby which makes for a perfect dog walk too. Host was very communicative and we had no problems accessing the property. Would definetely stay again!

Lovely little cottage in the heat of The Forest of Dean, within a couple of minutes you are walking in the woods. Lovely outside area at the back of the cottage to relax on an evening and to the front you have wonderful views of the forest, lovely view from the main bedroom window. Narrow road to the cottage but our land rover fitted through just fine. Clean inside and all the facilities you need for a few nights stay. Would recommend.

Cottage was lovely, small, comfortable and dog friendly

The location was fantastic in walking distance of The Forest of Dean, so many places to visit close by. The cottage was lovely very well equipped and the right size for us and our 2 dogs. Fab enclosed gardens for the dogs.whuch was great. Will definitely stay again to do all the walks that we didn't manage to do. Really good value.

There was nothing not to like.

It was cosy and comfortable. Fantastic shower. The location was very central.

The boiler was noisy- esp when nothing was on. There were no coffee tables to put drinks when sat on the sofa.

The location for visiting the forest of dene was excellent, this was the purpose of the visit. Garden was really secure for out dogs which meant we could relax when letting them out.

We had not realised it was a downstairs bathroom, but it was fine.
