Guests highly rate the good location and frequently praise the functional kitchen.
GBThe location- 5 minutes from the harbour. Modern kitchen with washing/dryer machine, induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The interior paintwork had been refreshed this year. Apart from the toilet the cottage was very clean. Basic food ingredients like condiments and cooking oil were supplied. Instructions manuals for all the kitchen appliances are kept in a folder. The cottage is dog friendly and full of character.
No bed linen or tea towels were provided and we were not told to bring anything except our own towels. The toilet needed a good clean to remove the limescale. A bath mat and possibly a shower mat needs to be provided to help prevent guests slipping or falling in the bathroom. Guests would benefit if they were informed about where the manuals are kept that have instructions on how to operate the kitchen appliances. The balcony needed a sweep to remove the moss that birds had dropped and the garden furniture looked very neglected.
GBExceptional Value, the overall accommodation was well presented, its in a great locality, the harbour is just around the corner. It is both characterful and well decorated. Balcony was a nice place to sit of an evening.
Parking was £8 per day, no welcome pack/Instructions or handy tips on whats around. Balcony area had lots of ants living in it, outdoor furniture was rusted.

GBLocation, was very good.
Needed a refurb, very dark sitting room old worn furniture. Carpets very thin and old. Shower wouldn't regulate so no shower, baths only. We were looking for forward to the balcony but dirty old and dead plants on pots. Not very pleasant. The kitchen was nice and bright all that you need in there. We did get a message saying that there painter had let them down so the paint in the sitting room was peeling off.
GBThe cottage was perfect a fully functional kitchen dishwasher and a washer drier and a full size fridge freezer the beds were comfy and a lounge to relax in after a long day hot water everything we needed plus more good location we walked miles used the bus a boat trip and the balcony with a washing line

nothing
GBLocation was good, close to harbour and shops, nearby paid parking
The house was not cleaned very well, toilet roll was half used, not enough for a 1 week stay Lighting was very poor, low power florescent bulbs, and a lot not working. Ideally should be replaced with LED bulbs? Bedroom had LED floor lamps but were USB powered, no USB adapters to fit them into? No towels provided, needs to be made more highlighted in Booking.com description Kitchen utensils not cleaned plaster/paint coming off walls, was advised that decorator was due but had let them down Curtains could do with being blackout as sun is bright in main bedroom Terrace was not appealing, lots of dead plants Ideally a notice to advise tenants to be careful of traffic when exiting front door as road is busy and narrow. The listed car park fee listed needs to be updated to the present rate of £8.25 per day
GBGreat location. Kitchen nicely renovated. Rooms large.
Front door opens onto busy narrow street with no pavement. Windows were dirty. Net curtains grey and ripped. All rooms dark; need better lighting. Bathroom has been repainted but shower is old and tired with low water pressure. Brown bedroom furniture and dark blue bedlinen make the room look dingy and tired. Floor is lumpy and sloping in the bedroom and the slippery vinyl flooring makes crossing the room feel treacherous. Stair carpet needs replacing. Sofa and chairs in living room old and tired. Previous stays in Mevagissey have been in far superior properties. This one has great potential but needs work. Car park is £8 per day, not £6 as stated in welcome instructions.
