Everything was perfect. It was cosy with stunning communal garden and river walk.

A lovely character full cottage, with spectacular views. Seating outside the cottages is great to sit and watch the wildlife and relax.

Double bed mattress was too soft to be comfortable.

The location is absolutely beautiful, being so close to a stunning river walk with lots of wildlife really made it all extra special. The house itself was spacious, lovely inside, well decorated and very cosy. The double bed was very comfy and we were so grateful the host was able to supply a travel cot! We loved staying here and are definitely planning to return in the near future!

Only recommendation for the host would be to supply something other than fly spray for the flies, the lovely temperature ment we needed to open windows which always has the unfortunate side effect of letting flies in but because we had a little one with us and a dog we weren't able to make use of the fly spray. Maybe some fly paper or a fly zap thingy would be useful ☺️

It was very cosy and clean and welcoming and the host made a amazing addition with personal Christmas touches to make our stay all the more special

Nothing

The weather on arrival was very cold, however the heating had already been put on in the cottage and it was lovely and warm. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was everything that we could possibly need for our stay. The complementary milk, biscuits, tea bags and coffee as well additional items such as dish washer tablets and washing up liquid was much appreciated. We both slept really well on a very comfortable mattress. The cottage is situated in peaceful and relaxing setting with beautiful open views.

There was nothing not to like.

Very clean, good facilities and a beautiful setting.

The road running directly behind the property can have trunks & other heavy traffic running through the night.

Perfect walks with the dog

couple of quick fix broken things like bin lids in kitchen and bathroom and no light on cooker
