Cornerstones Cottage, Tideswell

Fantastic location, traditional village cottage, comfortable and snug whilst we there in the winter. Easy access.

The fridge shelves were broken. The settee is sinking. The table was set for falling apart, rocking. The duvets on all beds need to be larger size. The TV downstairs lost all it's programmes and wouldn't allow set-up again. Everything needs updating and refreshing

Shower curtain… a shower screen would be much easier to navigate with the sloping roof!

Very well equipped, everything you could need in kitchen. Coffee, soft drinks and biscuits on arrival was a nice touch. Beds very soft but comfortable. It was a chilly weekend but the cottage was warm and very clean. A lovely cottage, can definitely recommend.

Main bedroom is very large but the double bed was a bit small for us, so we used twin beds in the other bedroom.

Location excellent, easy walk into village with lots of walking straight from the door. Very comfortable cottage and very spacious

The kitchen floor could have been cleaner

The location was excellent with such beautiful views especially from the kitchen window - washing up was a joy!! The house was warm, comfy and well stocked with books, games and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The piano was a pleasant surprise too! Lovely fireplace. Some issues at start were sorted promptly by the host who also kindly allowed us to check in early, which was much appreciated. Tideswell has everything - a perfect place to stay with walks from the doorstep and also central to other towns and villages by car.

It was very clean, light and spacious.

A sense of some jadedness, double glazing steamed windows, slightly tricky staircase for my friend and I in our mid 60's. Unfortunately TV was not accessible but a message was promptly acted upon.
