"Awesome weekend walking with the dogs."

Lovely welcome package of biscuits and tea on arrival. Easy to park and find. Lovely little patio to admire the view and recover from the walk of the day. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. Can really recommend Merchants Yard for a nice dinner.

I'd have liked a less squishy bed. Everything else was excellent.

The location was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and warm. A short walk to the village amenities including great fish and chips from Elliot’s. The kids loved the piano!

Some areas could be modernised such as the sofa and decor. The taps and shower could be updated too.

"Lovely cosy cottage"

This is our second time here and hopefully not our last! Great location. Comfy cottage. Really nice and cosy. Good WiFi. Had everything we needed. Beautiful fireplace. I forgot to bring cooking oil but the local co-op had a small bottle for only £2.50 which is a miracle in itself.

Everything was fine and as expected. Only complaint was that I did a jigsaw and 3 pieces were missing lol.

"Disappointing"

Spacious rooms

Central heating didn't work very well. Even had a leak in the system at one point but was sorted quickly. New boiler but I think the system needs flushing.

"Beautiful Getaway"

The cottage is located perfectly with access to multiple trails. The cottage itself is absolutely wonderful and the fireplace is stunning! Couldn't have asked for anything better, honestly

There really isn't much to dislike
