Cornerstones Cottage, Tideswell

What a fabulous Cottage and such a great location we had a fabulous time hosts was amazing leaving a nice welcoming pack .

The location was perfect and the cottage had everything you needed and more

Excellent location in a lovely village with local shop and pubs - we liked The Star 5 mins down the road. Easy to park outside property. Was much bigger than expected with cosy sitting room , good sized bedrooms and very well equipped. Provisions left much appreciated. Excellent price to rent too. Great location for lovely walks either from the door or a short drive away. We visited Edale and Mam Tor, Ladybower reservoir and the Dambusters dam and beautiful Ashford to Monsal Dale walk. Autumn colours lovely. Then a nice comfortable place to come back too. Really useful having drawer with local information and walk books. Plenty to see if a non walker too. Just wish we’d had longer there - will be back!

Great position. Very clean and well equipped. Lots of space. No issues with parking on the nearby road.

Single beds mattresses are very soft (ok for one of us but other found it lacking support). Double bed is small would benefit from an upgrade to larger one. Very cosy for 2.

Cozy with log fire. Comfortable beds. Amazing location with wonderful view. Shop within easy access. Piano😁

Not all the crockery and kitchen implements were scrupulously clean - this is important for someone with food intolerance.

Excellent location with some great views and only a short walk from the facilities in the village. The nice welcome pack meant we could have a cuppa as soon as we arrived; The whole cottage had a spacious home from home feel and was well equipped. There was lots of kitchen stuff, books, leaflets, and we especially liked the piano. Great email communications from the host helped us to feel welcome from the start.
