"Warm, comfortable, ideally situated for great dales walks and local facilities."

Plentiful hot water. Very efficient central heating. Very comfortable beds. Appreciated welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Lovely view across valley.

No wood or firelighters for fire. Only coal and matches. Chest of drawers in twin room needs fixing. Instructions for use of dvd player would be helpful. I worked out it needed HDMI cable plugging into TV.

Self catered. Nice location in a lovely village. Got snowed in on second day, managed to walk to the three local pubs though😆

Needs updating downstairs, old furniture and decoration.

"Great cottage"

Lovely spacious cottage in a great location. Beautiful town. great central base point for exploring the peak district

Our only problem was the radiators in the lounge were off and we had no way to turn them on . We did manage to light the fire but unfortunately this gave no heat to the room so we opted not to use the lounge as we weren't there too much anyway. Also the freezer could do with a defrost , was difficult to get draws open

"Ideal corner cottage in tideswell"

Big and comfortable cottage, beautiful views and ideal location,plenty of cooking facilities too if you like to cook.

Could do with updating as very old fashioned but wouldn't put me off staying there, but would be perfect if updated but would take a lot as large property.
