Host has great coms and provides a welcome pack of essentials so you don't need to bring or buy everything, location is great and the village is lovely. big rooms well equipped kitchen.

small point would be thicker curtains in the bedrooms.

"Good value cottage in prime Peak District location"

Lovely elevated quiet position in the village. Lounge was very comfortable

Small bed in master bedroom. Decor and bathroom could use some tlc Chimney could use a sweep?

Excellent location, beautiful peaceful village. A co-op, butcher, bakery, pubs, fish & chip shop. The cottage is a really good size and well equipped. The decor is dated but adds to the charm, reminding you of cosy & comfortable days at Grandma's home. Just up from the cottage is a grassed play area ideal for children/pets. Plenty of walks/trails nearby. Lovely patio area to enjoy the sunshine. The welcome pack was much appreciated thank you. We'll definitely be returning 😀

The cottage was cosy with a great location in a charming village at the centre of the Peak District. I particularly liked the open fireplace in the sitting room

The furnishings in the sitting room were a little old in style, but met my needs entirely.

Location

Looking a bit tired in need of some TLC. Curtains, carpets, sofa, Tv all in need of upgrade. TV could not figure out how to get mainstream channels.
