Very cosy, clean and loved the garden and hot tub

Was a little on the small side for 4 adults

Such a wonderful location - you get the benefit of having whitianga township but the ability to travel to the better beaches (hahei,otama,cooks beach) Really well set up for outdoor living with a comfy outdoor couch, table and speaker for casual afternoon fish and chips! We spent 99% of our time outside. House was very clean. Comfy beds and good shower. PET FRIENDLY!! We loved having our little golden friend with us, and although there is no gate due to a shared driveway the space was perfect for a small furry friend. So greatful we could bring our mate.

The lack of internal (comfortable) living furniture, the couch and chairs currently there are not comfortable and I wouldn’t reccomend this for a small family or group of more than two, if you had rain it would be quite uncomfortable on the chairs in there. No microwave, again if you had a child and needed to quickly heat anything (milk ect) this may not be a the spot for you. There isn’t alot of kitchen space for one, but a small one in the cupboard if needed could be an idea. The neighbours, we didn’t realise how close this house was to neighbouring properties, the house shares a driveway and the back neighbours were up and down a lot and noisy our first night with kids. The neighbours across the road also had a loud party until late. Again did not bother us and I’m sure had we asked they would have been quiet - but may bother someone with kids or wanting a more private or quiet stay. if you are a low maintenance couple who just want to lounge outside and explore the beaches it’s perfect!!! Beautifully presented property with everything you could need. Good location as just a short drive into town.

Lock box could have been slightly easier to find and there could maybe be one or two more comfortable chairs in the lounge area. These are truly minor and did not impact the trip at all. It really was great.

Location was perfect for walking into town and accessing the beach. The cottage was clean and well equipped.

Main bed was a bit soft for me so was a bit uncomfortable unfortunately - that didn't spoil our trip though.

Great little cottage, had everything we needed. Good location, quiet. Easy taxi ride to dinner.

What is not to like?

The close neighbours came and went all thru the night, like 1-3am with loud car which disturbed our sleep.

Great location close to the centre of Town but still far enough away for peace and quiet. The little unit was cute as was well presented and very clean. We will definitely be staying here again. It was great that we could take our little doggie who loved the park that is adjacent to the property.

We were booked in for 2 nights. Shortly after we awoke from our 1st night the electricity went off. After contacting the owner for advice. They tried to contact their provider. Whilst waiting for a response. We spoke to a neighbour who was collecting his bin from the end of the drive. His response was “didn’t they tell you?” He advised that it was a planned outage for the whole day whilst the service provider worked on power lines overhead. We advised the owner. They still advised they were unaware. We spoke to the next door neighbour who was in their garden. They advised the same that they were aware the power would be off all day. We advised the owner. They still maintained that they were unaware of the planned work on the electricity. We felt we had been charged for a property that couldn’t fulfill standard requirements and that the owners didn’t care.
