Henry and Elizabeth are really lovely couple. Very welcoming, the accomodation was great,clean and tidy. The view's from the property are amazing. We have a wonderful relaxing time at the birdhouse and we will be back in the future.

Henry and Elizabeth have created a gorgeous and relaxing space in a beautiful part of Donegal. The accommodation is modern and pristine, with the most amazing view and the hot tub a fantastic addition. Wonderful hospitality with a lovely touch of freshly baked scones and bread upon arrival, The Birdhouse is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you, Henry and Elizabeth!

Where to start, this stay was easily my favorite of the whole trip! The views from this place are unbelievable, the decor is on point and really makes the place feel special, and don't forget the fabulous hot tub! Overall I will be returning for weekend trips from Dublin because of how much I loved it. This place was so unique and the exact getaway I needed from the city. The Hosts are also incredible - so friendly and inviting, I couldn't say more positive things about them and their lovely place. If you are in need of high speed wifi this also available.

Its a little hard to find, but rest assured the hosts are lovely and will be there to help you find it!

This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful accommodation & a superb location. We travelled here for a hiking weekend and we were blown away by the outstanding beauty of the area & the standard of the accommodation. I would say it was like a home from home, but the truth is, it’s better! Everything you need is there and the hosts couldn’t be more welcoming. The fresh bread was delicious and a dip in the hot tub after a long hike felt like luxury. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful experience.

I honestly couldn’t say anything negative about our time here. Not only would I recommend the property, but we will certainly be back to climb the mountains we didn’t get a chance to. The beaches nearby are also exceptional. We went for a few swims and the water was lovely and clear. Book this accommodation. You will love it.
