The Birdhouse with Hot Tub

Everything was just fantastic. The accommodation was spotless and so comfortable. Location is private yet close to the beaches and Gortahork. Hot tub a bonus! Delicious homemade bread and scones appreciated. Thanks Henry and Elizabeth we'll be back!

WOW. What can I say, but that it was an incredible Air B&B in a great location for some peace and tranquillity. On arrival we were greeted by wonderful hosts who were extremely helpful on guiding us around the area. The views looking out from the property are just beautiful and the hot tub was greatly appreciated after a big beach walk. We honestly can’t wait to visit again

Nothing; everything was perfect

This was a lovely, comfortable and homely place. Very clean and had a lovely view out the front. Lovely hot tub out the back, nice and private. Lovely bread and scones were waiting for our arrival which was a lovely touch. beautiful place.

This place is amazing. Henry and Elizabeth are so lovely and have created a little slice of heaven here. I was greeted by them both on arrival and they showed me around and how to work heating and hot tub. They had also left some freshly baked bread and scones and eggs which was a really lovely touch. The place is so cosy and has everything you need. The photos do not do it justice. I stayed for 3 nights while solo travelling and its a great location for sightseeing and lots of walks. The hot tub is a great bonus to chill and relax in even when it is a bit windy and raining. On my last night the clouds cleared and I was able to sit in the hot tub and stargaze, would highly recommend. Henry and Elizabeth are great hosts and recommend some lovely places. I will definitely be back for another stay.

The place was great. Good location and we had our 11 month old baby with us. Warm and cosy even though it was blowing a gale outside. Some fantastic scenery around us and I would definitely return again. Hosts were fantastic and very welcoming. Hot tub was an added bonus.

This property was absolutely perfect for us. It’s hard to include everything that was great about our stay because it was very special! The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The hot tub is an amazing bonus to make it even more relaxing. The views from the place are breathtaking and it was fantastic to be so near the beach. Our hosts were so welcoming and fun, and we were sad to leave. Do not hesitate to book the place for a group, the long drive for us was worth it.

Literally everything.. there is absolutely nothing we could Fault with the Bird House. Henry and Elizabeth are the most welcoming hosts, and nothing was too much trouble for them, with plenty of tips and knowledge about good walks, places to visit, and places to eat and drink. The extra special little touches like fresh home-made bread, scones, butter, and eggs along with fluffy bathrobes for the hot tub really set this place a step above the rest. The hot tub is a must after a good day's walking. If you're looking for absolute relaxation, this is the place to choose. We can't wait to get back.
