Little Oak Seafront House Donaghadee w/ Seaviews

This property is a mixed bag. OK for those who are not fussed about dust and lack of cleanliness. House is about a mile from harbour, a metre from the beach. Great views. There is car parking next to the house. Bed linen appeared clean and surfaces in kitchen and bedroom were generally clean. Price was low for a house. Main bathroom downstairs (bath and shower) and WC upstairs.

Main problem was the lack of cleaning before our arrival, e.g. dust round staircase and skirting boards. Obviously not been done for some time. Front of elderly washing machine had not been wiped. The main bathroom had a toilet seat that was badly damaged, 95% of people would have replaced. Previous visitors had noted similar points which owners had presumably read but not acted on. Long steep stairs would make it difficult for some visitors. Entrance off main road is tricky, do your research beforehand.

This is our 2nd time staying there as we just love the location on the seafront and the walks out the front gate with our dogs. Nice large kitchen and fridge with various appliances was nice and the lounge has a good sized flat screen tv with Netflix etc... lovely sea view especially from the bedrooms upstairs and the lounge.

Desperately needs maintenance attention all around especially in the bathroom. A good deep clean would do wonders - it's the small things that make the difference.

Absolutely gorgeous location, cant beat those sea views and coastal walks

The house needed a good clean, the beds had clean sheets and clean towels, but don't think any actual cleaning been done in a while.

3rd time staying here and still loving the location. Fantastic view and so handy to everywhere.

Nothing really

Location was great, beautiful views and great costal walks. So quiet expect for the sound of the sea. Walk into town was nice and about 20 minutes. Great and friendly pubs and restaurants. House had all amenities in kitchen, books and games. Wonderful that they catered for our dog with bowls and a secure garden.

TV reception not good. Could do with some painting and upgrading the interior. Toilet seat in bathroom downstairs not stable or safe kept falling down. Parking not great, could not close gates as parking space too small and a few times other people parked across it.

Location, house was comfortable. Good kitchen with all utensils etc required

Decor is a bit worn - could be upgraded, plus we had to provide our own toilet rolls even though they said these would be provided. A lot of cobwebs in the house - could do with a good clean, though the beds and bathrooms were clean.

The property was comfortable but tired decoration.

All facilities available but again tired.
