"The property met our expectations, the host was friendly and informative but not overbearing. Very relaxing break."

10.0

It was very comfortable, very clean, lots of space and all things one needs for your stay including a coffee machine. Also the location was perfect near beach and costal walk.

I have nothing bad to say about the property.

"Fabulous Stay"

10.0

The accommodation was first class and I would highly recommend the house. Lovely welcome pack and thoughtful touches. We loved our stay in Garlieston and will definitely return. Very friendly and helpful host. There are great walks and beaches on the doorstep. The weather was very good and we were swimming every day. Thank you.

Nothing, just perfect.

"Great weekend break"

Location, cleanliness, facilities, welcome extras. Comfortable beds.

Creak on headboard on single bed, disturbing at night! Solved partially with a wedged cushion!

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely harbour located house in the charming coastal village of Garlieston"

8.0

Very well appointed & presented Comfortable, warm & very clean Harbour location, close to the sea, coastal walks from the door Close to the village for pub & cafe

Outside space is limited to a small yard at the back Unusual location - the back looks out into the touring camp site - but we found it interesting! The front looks across the car park to a small electricity substation

"An excellent base for seeing the wonderful Galloway Coast."

9.0

There was almost no noise after about 8pm. The house is right by the sea and, waking up, in the wonderfully comfy beds, everything is so quiet apart from the birds. The house is very well-furnished and very warm. The huge settee and matching armchair in beautiful blue leather is gorgeous and comfortable. We enjoyed watching Netflix. We cooked some meals in the very well appointed kitchen. There are three toilets, one shower and a bath (with shower over it, I think) so the three of us never got in each other's ways! We could walk to the attractive village in a few minutes where there is a great traditional pub which goes like a fair. Live music, too. It was easy to get to Whithorn and Wigton, with excellent shops , pubs and cafes.

There isn't much in the village, just a cafe and a pub, and a shop at the garage. Our back door looked onto a Club campervan/caravan site. But it did not affect us at all. No noise at all.

Spacious ground floor. 2 bathrooms, nice views

It would have been good to have a towel rail or hooks to hang wet towels in the en-suite. Also a bedroom chair would have been good.
