"Accommodation excellent, not a great deal to do."

Very comfortable, welcome basket was a nice touch, Michelle was lovely and really keen to help.

Not much to do for families. Required a lot of driving to get to places. 8 mile drive to nearest shop next town 15 miles away. We do live in a rural village ourselves and felt the area did lack some local amenities.

Gorgeous Property, Modern, Clean and Welcome Pack very much aporeciated, everything you could ask for. Gorgeous little Village Kids loved it and didn't want to leave, can't wait to return Thanks very much to Michelle for giving us a very welcome stay

"Exceptional"

The owner gave us a lovely friendly welcome and presented us with a much-needed welcome pack, that included bread, butter, milk and not forgetting the two bottles of prosecco. The two-storey apartment was modern and immaculate. It had three toilets, one on the ground floor, and two upstairs. The double bedroom had an en-suite bathroom with a great shower. The twin bedroom had a great sea view towards the harbour and easy access to the other bathroom with a bath/shower. The double room had a fantastic balcony looking towards the Garlieston waterfront, giving us beautiful sunset views. It was a very short walk of about 100m to the picturesque harbour and a lovely pebble beach, which is a quiet hidden gem. There is plenty to explore in the immediate area, including Galloway House/gardens and another lovely nearby beach (about 5 mins drive by car). We had a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be back.

The nearest mid-sized supermarket was in Wigton, which was about 7 miles away, so it's probably a good idea to stock up on your groceries before arrival. On our day of departure, we had to be out by 10am, which was too soon as we did not want to leave at all.
