Large House, sleeps 10 with incredible sea views

Excellent house with every thing you need .. Great location too ..we are all originally from ilfracombe so it was great for our family get together

A spacious property for 9 of us, with great views. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedrooms.

The host was lovely and very good with communication, helping us with local things to do and offering some helpful tips for holidaying in Ilfracombe with a mobility disability. We had a brilliant folder with lots of info. The facilities were great, and we really appreciated the little basket of beach toys and blankets as we forgot ours! The home was beautifully clean on arrival but still felt homely, so we didn't need to panic about our little boy touching anything! The welcome basket was a real bonus as the children were super hungry when we arrived and quickly demolished the delicious little treats! We slept so well that we almost didn't wake up in time to check out, so left in a bit of a hurry! Super comfy beds and great showers too. The view was gorgeous and my little boy loved using the binoculars to look for pirates and dolphins from the balcony.

We have no complaints at all. We would usually book a home with a big garden for the children to play in, but deliberately booked this home because of how much there is to do locally. So we didn't miss that at all. I would recommend reading the folder left by Fiona as soon as you arrive, to understand the parking.

Lovely views from house over Ilfracombe. Good location, close to amenities. House had everything needed for a family holiday, particularly liked the little touches for children.

Parking was a bit of a pain but managed to park outside house overnight.

We really liked the size of the house and decor. It had everything you needed inside and it delivered fully in the incredible views from the balcony and rear windows which overlooked the harbour and sea. We loved returning to the house each day after a visit to the local attractions and other beaches i.e Woolacombe. There were ten of us staying and the five bedrooms were spacious and clean. It’s a very short walk to harbour via rear garden but uphill on way back to keep you fit. The host left a folder with helpful info and we didn’t need to contact them during the stay.

There is no parking with the property but you can park on the road overnight for free and pay for parking if you need to leave the car outside during the day for more than an hour. It was manageable and didn’t spoil the trip as the house is fabulous.

Single beds on top floor creaked on every movement No fan / ventilation in ensuite which was a pity

Fantastic views over Ilfracombe due to its elevated position yet situated just minutes from the attractions on offer. Ideal for a large group or family with variety of bedrooms available.

Excellent stay. Five spacious bedrooms, large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. Two large house bathrooms with excellent showers, plus one en-suite bathroom for one of the bedrooms. Great sea views from the balcony, lounge and three of the bedrooms. Very good communication from the owner. Good location a few minutes walk downhill to the centre of Ilfracombe. Note - The walk back up to the house from the centre of town is pretty steep so may not be suitable for all.

The balcony floor could have used a clean-up. It was a bit mossy and slippy. But overall a very positive experience.
