Location for town was excellent as we were basically in town. There is a pub to the back of the property, but didn't experience any loud noise.There is a takeaway next door which is convenient if you like pizza/kebabs.

The main bedroom(double bed) is in the loft area (2nd floor)and up a lot of stairs. The bathroom is on the 1st floor next to the twin bedroom. Shower is in the bath which is quite deep and a struggle to climb out of.

Kitchen well equipped. Location. Comfortable beds. Easy parking. Very clean.

Low door into the lounge is not ideal if you are tall. There is no bannister on the stairs to 2nd bedroom. High sided bath difficult if you have restricted mobility.

Brilliant communication. Location perfect for us. Comfortable and clean.

Excellent location, very helpful host and the cottage far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was very clean with good facilities.

Lovely cottage on main road and close to lovely village 😍 cottage warm and comfortable, tea, coffe, sugar available and welcome cakes and milk too, lovely Indians and pizza shop next door, pubs of plenty 😀 with footy available, everyone super friendly. Plenty of shops and cafes and supermarkets available close by. Coastliner bus available to whitby, Scarborough, York etc over roundabout near one shop. Nice enclosed yard for dogs 🐕 👍 can't fault it 👌

Parking 😬 very limited and at front of property and very busy in March could only get out front after shops shut from 4pm ish so had to use pay car park at co-op till space became available.

For us nothing to dislike

Location is great right in the centre of town, we had no issue with parking and got parked directly outside the cottage. The cottage had everything you need including fresh milk, tea, coffee and homemade buns which we thought was a lovely gesture. Perfect for a weekend away.
