We arrived late, in the dark. A jug of milk would have been very much appreciated to enjoy a cup of tea. Toilet was ridiculously situated - tall people need to use it sideways! Only TV was in the bedroom.

Quaint, reasonably spacious, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen. Nice and close to the beach.The bathroom could use an upgrade.

Likes - location, quietness, beach walks, sunsets. Dislikes - narrow driveway, toilet around the wrong way, shower head to low.

This is a very old seaside cottage renovated lovingly by the long-term owners, with a fascinating history - so it exceeded our expectations compared to a conventional seaside holiday house. The owners, who live several hours away when not staying in the cottage, were prompt in having their local contact attend to a couple of issues.

While understandable for a cottage used by the owners and their friends, we found the many interesting decorations etc left little room for our suitcases. Minimal hanging space, no drawers or shelves in bedroom or bathroom. The access to the toilet is awkward for people with mobility issues.

Charming cottage with fascinating architecture…..lovely original features. Lots of interesting items to see in the house, including the original deeds and information of owners over the years.

secure site for our dog and plenty of grass areas just across the road. Peaceful surrounds.

The toilet was a bit cramped.
