Monday Seaside Cottage

I had booked it on the understanding it was a two bedroom - it wasn't, just a one bedroom with a screen around a second bed.

We really enjoyed the sound of the waves and the variety of things to do eg playing records on an actual gramaphone, a trunk full of children's games, the memorabilia pertaining to the history of the cottage, the well stocked kitchen with utensils, fridge ,freezer and the basic food items like salt, tea, coffee and two very efficient heaters which warmed the interior of the cottage very quickly.

The lack of room in the toilet area eg when sitting on the toilet seat ones' knees were hard up against the wall and this was for me at 5ft 5in uncomfortable and the toilet roll was also a pain being on my left. The shower was a shocker..... It was very difficult to maintain the right temperature....either too hot or too cold !

Unique, well located to the beach and walks and they make it exceptionally easy to travel with dogs.

I was filthy, the showers was moldy and rusted couldn't use it. Booked for 4 nights could only suffer 2 and left!

Lovely home with lots of character.

Stay not long enough.
