Church Farm Cottage

Lovely farm house, great area, highly recommended! The instructions were excellent, with good communication from the owner. The location was terrific, with a 100-yard walk to the main square shops. The rooms were spacious, and everything was clean. Nice sized lounge and dining room between the kitchen. Lovely walks and a park on location, where there is a football pitch, tennis courts and a play area. I took a lovely walk through this park and followed for a few miles through the countryside.

A beautiful location. It was perfect to take walks around the fields and church in the morning. Also within a few minutes walk to the local square where there are cafes and a supermarket. The cottage itself it decorated very nicely and the little soaps provided were a nice touch along with ample towels and bedding. Also nice to be provided with tea, coffee and other condiments! It was also very useful to have a bathroom with shower downstairs as well as the bath and toilet upstairs. We enjoyed a bbq in the garden which was also a lovely touch to add; thank you so much! The cottage truly is beautiful and thank you so much to the hosts for being so kind and always contactable.

This was only a slight problem for us as my mum is disabled; the stairs to get upstairs are winding and steep which definitely wasn’t easy for her to get up and down, so I would think twice about staying here if you have mobility issues. The same thing for accessing the garden, we didn’t realise there was no direct access from inside the house (you have to go around the front of the house and past the bin storage area) again this was only a slight issue for us because of my mum finding it difficult to walk but she took it slow and we made it out there! :) one other thing, this is just a personal preference but it would be nicer to have warm bulbs in the lamps in the living room rather then white! Would definitely add to making it feel more of a cosy warm atmosphere

Self catering. The property had everything we required for our stay, kitchen well equipped. Location very good for many attractions and touring the area.

It was a typical cottage with the stairs to match, would not suit someone with mobility issues. It was in need of a touch up here and there. We didn’t use the garden but that could do with a general tidy up.

Great location right in Northleach. Enjoyed the home, nice to have a dining room. Nice garden to sit in at the back.

We were disappointed with the level of cleanliness in the home. We had to wash everything in the kitchen prior to using it and wipe the drawer pulls etc as food was stuck on. Cobwebs, dust balls on lamp shades and the bathrooms could use some TLC. Paint and mold repairs. Very difficult to get a nice shower as so cramped and nozzle too low. Had to clean garden chairs to use them but gave up on cleaning the patio table. Seemed to be missing attention to details. Perhaps we were the first of the season and it will improve with more use.
