Great location, off the main road and quaint setting. Northleach is a lovely little village and I’d really recommend visiting if you’re looking at seeing the Cotswolds. The cottage has a lovely garden and BBQ and has an enclosed garden so perfect for our dog. The fact it was dog friendly was great.

I feel like the photos are a little generous on booking.com - the place is quaint and old, but we agreed we think it needs a solid touch up, a lick of paint and a good clean. Things like the kettle being covered in scale, same with the espresso machine. A shower curtain instead of a screen again just brings things down. The towels definitely need an upgrade, all quite tatty around the edges. Light sleepers beware, the church opposite rings its bells very regularly and we found this out at 00:00 on our first night. Not just with the time but with a good old sing song. The front of the property is used as a car park for a number of Royal Mail vans, and we were woken up in the morning with the noise of their handheld devices scanning in their postage sacks at 7am. It’s a shame there’s no way into the rear garden without having to go round the side gate. Makes eating outside a bit of a chore but that’s being picky as the layout is the layout. Beds were comfy and the bedrooms nice, but basic. Kitchen was fine but every knife was blunt as hell! Overall it was a nice stay but feel that this place could be absolutely perfect if it had a little bit of time taking it to the next level a holiday let.

Very beautiful old cottage. We enjoyed the atmosphere of it. The location in village is perfect, just tens of meters between church and market place. Very well equipped. There was everything we needed. Nice wellcoming gift, which was fresh Cotswalds egg’s.

Frying pan’s were in very bad condition.

The house is very authentic. The house was warm, cozy, comfortable.

The hosts were expectionally responsive. The location was perfect for walks and beautiful scenery. The amenities were great and lovely loving space for socialising. Local shop and pubs within minutes walk.

The garden could have been maintained better and the lock ups that were rented out could have been sectioned off better and more aesthetically pleasing. Some of the mattresses were uncomfortable.

Oven trays all dark brown and black baked like not cleaned for months.cutlery not clean.no clean pans. cups looked like they were put back after use without washing.I made picture of that disaster.
