Manus und seine Frau sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Manus ist total hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Er hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und hat unseren Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Kop kun kap!

주변에 산책로가 없다는게 조금 아쉬웠어요

Hospitable host

Such a beautiful place. Well-constructed houses. Quality. Huge rooms. Comfortable, spotlessly clean. Great beds and bedding. Lovely bathrooms. Next to a beautiful stream. The natural sounds of water make for a blissful night's sleep and I woke up refreshed each morning. The mountains to the west of the property are dramatic and beautiful. The weather patterns change all the time. I could spend all day on the terrace watching mists roll in and clouds forming and disappearing on the peaks. The mountains also mean the sun disappears early. From before 4pm the place is in shade and the temperature drops a couple of degrees. Absolute heaven to sit out in the afternoon in the shade. Clear dark skies mean this is an excellent place for stargazing. It's been many years since I saw as many stars as I saw here. The location is superb. This road out of Chiang Dao runs through a magical landscape that has attracted many interesting businesses. Jin's Italian restaurant is nearby and excellent. Chiang Dao Nest 2 is a fabulous Thai place. Great cafes, bakeries, bars, restaurants, and many others besides. This is a beautiful part of Thailand. Rivers, streams, waterfalls, hot springs. Khun Manus, the host, is a beautiful man. Retired, he built this place and runs it as his labour of love with high standards ingrained from his career. He is generous, knowledgeable and charming. I enjoyed our conversations and learned a lot from him about the area. I was with my two kids: he was kind and charming with them and they looked forward to seeing him every morning over breakfast. We stayed here four nights and I almost could not bear to leave. I don't think I would have a single problem staying here forever. In total, we stayed in three places in Chiang Dao. All of them were good. But next time I will book this place for the whole of our stay. Highly, highly recommended. 100%.

The hot shower is not really providing warm water or, if you want it hot, only drizzeling

A beautiful setting, so much greenery, the place is a hidden gem. Our host, Manus, was very informative and suggested a day out in the car. He was very helpful and drew us a little map to help us find our way. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and breakfast was made for us at our preferred time, a selection of teas, coffee, orange juice with eggs, toast jam etc. Toiletries are also supplied. There is a lovely little coffee and food bar as you turn left out of the property, on the roadside. The food is cooked in the family home opposite, I had an amazing Pad Thai there, my very first and my husband had a delicious iced caramel coffee.

Wonderful views, attentative and friendly hosts. Very helpful tips from our host Manus. Visit to the Doi Luang Chiang Dao viewpoint in the mountains to see the sunrise was a superb experience.
