This place was a total find, if you are looking for a beautiful experience and are comfortable with the rustic setting. The owner, Manus, was the best guide we could have asked for. He extremely kind, intelligent, and generous with his time. He drove us to nearby restaurants and picked us up. He took us to places we NEVER would have found ourselves: 2 hill tribe villages, a sunrise location up in the mountains, a sunset location at a temple in the hills, and other gorgeous spots around Chiang Dao. The hill tribe tour was unreal, including a 30 minute drive off the highway to a remote village that we never would have found ourselves. He was incredibly informative and helpful. The location was absolutely beautiful, right between 2 national parks. The rooms were very spacious, and the housing was rustic in nature. The grounds are beautiful, and the birdsongs were awesome during the day. It was very safe…didn’t need to lock up our passports.

Bed was quiet hard even for Thailand Water in shower was at best lukewarm But this is a village homestay so one should not compare facilities against a town hotel. Know what to expect if you want the joy of staying in the Thai countryside

Manus and his wife are perfect hosts. Manus is a real gentleman and very nice person. It is a great pleasure to talk with him, because he has a lot of tips and recommendations and also knowledge about Thailand. Perfect views, a lot of birds singing in the garden, a really nice place. Thanks a lot!

The host, Manus, was exceptional. he went above and beyond. he took a good amount of his time to help me learn about the area and schedule different activities in the area. He knows almost everyone it seemed and took me to some fantastic restaurants. I highly recommend.
