Cathedral View

The property is in a lovely quiet location situated just a few minutes walk outside of the village. There is a pub called the George Inn just a 1 minute walk away around the corner, a real hidden gem. There is a chip shop and a coop also just a 3minute walk away which is very handy. There is a nice Italian restaurant Called Sals italian just down the road too. So there’s plenty of places to eat and shops pretty much on the doorstep. The accommodation itself was pretty much perfect. Lovely and clean with nice comfy beds, 2 bedrooms, one on the front and one on the back. Just a heads up if you sleep in the front room there is a church just across the road and the bells chime on the hour through the night which is disturbing if you’re not used to it and are a light sleeper, in which case it’s advisable to sleep in the back room. The toilet and shower were to a great standard and worked as they should, shower nice and big too very spacious. The kitchen was also very nice with plenty of utensils and a great cooker and microwave. Washer machine available but at the time of our visit was out of order. This didn’t affect our stay. Overall a solid 10/10.

Absolutely amazing cottage in a great location. Beds are comfortable, shower is really good. Log fire inside which was lovely on a cold, wet evening. Hosts were very attentive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely village accommodation with great access to the walks and sights of the Peak District.

The rooms were a little smaller than they appeared in the photos.

There was nothing to not like, beautiful house and garden with a lovely view. Very short walk into the village which was again beautiful. The house was spotless and the shower was amazing.

A wonderful weekend away. The cottage was in a perfect location for exploring the Peak District. The hosts were fantastic, plenty of communication prior to our stay and easy to get hold of when we had a question. Highly recommended! We will be back 😁

Beautiful little cottage, felt very spacious. Host's left tea coffee sugar milk and bread for our arrival and even provided towels. Excellent location, lots to do in the area, great local pubs and cafés, well worth a visit.
