"Lovely little break in a beautiful setting."

The cottage was very clean and had all the necessities. We really appreciated the little welcome pack when we arrived. Lots of blankets left out for both humans and dogs. Well decorated and just a really lovely place to stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

"Cost cottage, good location."

Teapot and visitor book to see others recommendations for walks, pubs etc. We went to 3 pubs to eat, in order of quality and friendliness, they were The Star, The Anchor and the Horse and Jockey.

Well equipped property in a lovely area, plenty of amenities and cosy, beautiful rooms.

The only thing that comes to mind is the garden fences, one of my dogs is very curious and would have chosen to jump the short fence into the neighbours garden if we gave them the opportunity, to stop this we always took her out on the lead, not a problem at all, but it took away the ‘home from from’ feel being unable to let them out in a secure and enclosed garden.

The cottage was perfect for our walking weekend with our doggie. All clean and had everything we needed, and some thoughtful touches like dog bed and blankets. Great location too.

Súper village, friendly locals. Great pubs and good food. Kitchen well equipped, good shower, comfortable bed, very peaceful.

Washing machine was not working & we were not informed. We had planned to do 3 days cycling and had to hand wash our gear, not great It would have been super easy for us to take extra gear if we had known.
