"Beautiful view"

View was beautiful. Place is nice and central, close to shops and beach.

Going up and down the steps, was a bit tiring, not recommended for older people. Struggled with Wifi, the signal was not strong in all the rooms, but the owner did say he would fix that.

Nothing. NEVER book there!!!

NEVER book there!!! We were travelling from Cape Town to Plettenberg Bay. Decided to stay over in Mossel Bay the afternoon of 01 August 2025. We booked the place on Bookings.com and paid R 1,250 for the night. After numerous WhatsApp, telephone calls, sms messages and e-mails to both the host and the system, we were not able to reach the host for hours. Since it was getting dark and already after 07:30pm, we had to urgently book another place to stay over as there was also nobody at the previous property that could assist us with a key. Only the next day did the owner respond to me with a voice note that he was on the farm. I have asked and logged complaints with Bookings.com and nobody is responding to get a refund. Bookings.com just says sorry we cannot reach the host for a reply. Not even the owner offered to repay us after it was his fault, he just said we have to come another time. We stay 1,600km from the Cape and do not visit there weekly. He just blamed the Bookings system. Will never recommend this place to anybody.
