Rosehaven Cottage

Beautiful Victoria Cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Cozy living room and great, secure garden for the dog.

I recommend a small corner lamp for in the living room as the two main lights are quite bright when watching TV in the evening.

Spotlessly clean, well fitted out with everything that we needed and excellent host.

Absolutely EVERYTHING. Braam has thought of everything for one's comfort, arriving to a warm and hospitable welcome, this pet friendly little treasure of a cottage was a Gem of a find. .

A lot of heart and soul has gone into turning this cottage into a comfortable and homely place away from home. It is evident that a lot of thought went into the decor and amenities. There was even a mixture of sugar and water for the birds that visit the garden, which we completely forgot to put out in the bird feeder. It honestly felt like we were visiting the house of a good friend or relative who was out of town and knew we were coming:)

The lounge chairs were beautifully designed and comfortable, but just a little bit low to the ground. Having one or two extra chairs that might be easier for one to get up out of would be an asset. I had my elderly parents with me, so it was a little bit hard at times for them to sit down and get up.

Very cozy cottage with great facilities and safe parking.

I did not expect a cleaning fee of R300 when I booked.

A gorgeous, well-equipped cottage with a beautiful garden! We enjoyed the fireplace and electric blankets and appreciated the fresh cut flowers around the house. Our friendly & considerate host graciously offered us a late check-out. Thank you, Braam, for a wonderful stay. We will definitively visit again.

The house was so well equipped - especially the kitchen. In fact, the most equipped kitchen I've ever stayed in through my whole life of travel. We only needed to stay one night but we would have happily stayed longer. The house was convenient for accessing the amenities in the centre of Swellendam, was quiet, and the rooms lovely to stay in. We appreciated the presence of the very nice stand-up fans, the freshly cut flowers throughout the house, and the friendlist host ever. Thank you Braam for the wonderful stay.

Interesting older house with lots of rooms and space. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. Close to town and restaurants.
