Rosehaven Cottage

This cottage, styled with South African charm, offers all the comforts for a pleasant holiday. Our host, Braam, graciously showed us around on arrival and made us feel like we were visiting a friend. The rooms were adorned with fresh flowers and tasteful décor, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. In addition to the usual appliances, I vividly remember a diverse selection of spices, tea, coffee, and lovely pottery. Both bedrooms were comfortable and complemented the cozy atmosphere. Outside, there's a veranda and an additional braai area that we used. Firewood was readily available, and we safely parked our two cars in the garage. It was a delightful experience, and we will certainly consider returning at some time in the future.

Only 1 bathroom inside the house, but owner is in the process to get approval for another

We were in an accident and had to arrange emergency accommodation and came across this beautiful cottage and what an amazing experience. The owner even picked us up where my vehicle was towed to and took us to the cottage. We have never had such an amazing experience with a host before and we travel very often, they were very concerned about us and they were so welcoming and professional and even allowed us to stay beyond the normal booking out time until we could arrange transport to be taken home. Our experience with them made us realise that there are still caring people in this world of ours no matter how messy it sometimes looks to us, there are people that are more concerned than just making some money out of you and their concern is genuine. I forgot their names but I want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts, from the owner to the ladies that cleaned the place. They were all very professional and welcoming and not to mention very concerned about us. We will definitely recommend your place to family and friends and even stay at your place again in the future.

Warm and welcoming host

Cosy, comfortable and provided everything we needed. The garden is fabulous for our dogs and sitting on the verandah relaxing is just what we needed. The birdlife in the garden is is fantastic. Felt like we were coming home.

An incredibly special property, beautifully styled and has everything you could possibly need. Lovely host. Will definitely be back again.
