Lovely old property, good location ( but you need a car), inverter during load shedding) comfy beds, beautiful garden, helpful and sensitive hosts.

Having only one bathroom was somewhat of a negative; kitchen area was 'a challange'

The beautiful old house has an authentic atmosphere with high ceilings, wooden floors and original fittings. Decorated with exceptional pieces of antique furniture and the most comfortable beds. We loved the homely feel with the large verandah overlooking the garden. it is located in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to shops and restaurants. Braam and Stanley are friendly, warm and considerate hosts. We will visit again.

This is a very special house which has been lovingly restored to an incredible standard, it has a lovely homely feeling with great attention to detail. The host made us feel very welcome and gave excellent tips on where to hike and go for meals. So if you looking for ensuite bathrooms and all the mod cons perhaps this is not for you, but if you want a very special experience in a very special house you dont get much better than this. It was a privilege to stay there and I would love to go back.

Immaculate, fully equipped, comfy beds, awesome decor, stunning garden, great braai area and peaceful surroundings. Braam was a wonderful host.
