Well... We've been gone from home since Dec 31, now Feb 10th. This is THE BEST unit we have stayed in while hitting the roads in Australia & now NZ. Don't you all wish to wake up to a sunrise over the town of Whangamata? Then, let's add in Donut Island. OR, make a short tromp up their hill for an even higher view in surrounding directions! Wonderful book provided with cottage info, good internet speed, awesome recommendations for great nearby foods. We'd have liked a burner, but they had a George Foreman grill that baked our cheese sandwiches & micro for heating soup. Thank you both gor a BEAUTIFUL, secluded, safe, and plush cottage.p

A burner would've been nice, but we're adaptable

Fantastic location and view, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, wonderful host.

Perfect Location, Amazing View. Best Location in Whangamata. Quick drive to town centre. The Hosts Tineke and Ian are the most fantastic hosts, make sure you have everything sorted prior to arrival and make you feel incredibly welcome. We have stayed twice and will be back a 3rd time. 10/10 and the most perfect location and stay!
