Mandhari - The View

The accommodation was as described. Lovely deck, kitchen with just what you need to make some simple meals, large bathroom/shower and comfortable bed with end tables on both sides. And the view! It's so nice to stay somewhere where you can meet the hosts and get some insider information about the area. Tineke and Ian helped with destination and dining suggestions that elevated our time in the area. We felt fortunate to have found this gem of an area. If their place is available, don't hesitate to book!

Great accommodation and host, comfortable, accommodating, nice view, good service and communication. If we come back to Whangamata one day we will try to book it again :)

The kitchen is a bit small but it was ok for us since we stayed only 3 nights and cooked dinner only 1 night. Enough big for breakfast meal.

Excellent choice, really enjoyed our three night stay here. Really helpful owner upon arrival helping old man with luggage. Great views from the deck. Slept like a log. Easy access to town for trips out. WiFi very good.

Quiet location with pretty garden. Separate kitchen to bedroom and nice seating area outside.

Stair access from the car parking area to the chalet was a bit tricky with suitcases. No hanging space for clothes so you live out of your suitcase - not so good for an extended stay. The view of the sea is visible only when standing - but the bushes have probably been pruned by now.

Extensive view with a rural aspect incredible bird life in gardens and trees surrounding the accommodation. Very peaceful at the end of the day and amazing sun rise.
