Romantic Getaway Luxury Wooden Cabin With Private Hot Tub and BBQ

The area was nice, and once we complained, they gave us an upgrade

The cabin we were given was awful in no way was this a luxury stay! The bedding was dirty. There were dead bugs and spiders everywhere, along with ridiculous amounts of cobwebs. They then told us there was another cabin we could stay in, which was slightly better, but the hot tub was half full and filthy. After complaining, they gave us an upgrade to one of their cottages, which was surprisingly nice. Do not stay here. I've wasted my money and time

The scenery around the property is lovely.

Sadly there was a strange smell coming from inside the fridge. The mattress was a little worn out.

The hot tub, the view, the snugness and general feeling, but lucky no one was next door as we were overlooking each other.

Would have been good to have cleaned the shower plug out, had two glasses for wine and champagne, a sharp knife and a water tap and basin by the kitchenette and it would have been perfect.

Perfect for a secluded time away

Peaceful secluded location Well equipped with the essentials eg, cups, plates etc The hot tub was warm and ready for us to use on arrival Gas BBQ The bed linen was comfy and appeared clean Would have been ok if the correct description was provided

The cabin was more like a large shed and not at all luxury Overpriced and not as described. Very old, worn, stained and broken furniture All Windows were dirty and paint stained. The BBQ grill was dirty and rusted so I was unable to use it. The place was full of cobwebs, spiders, woodlice and dirt. Not sure when it was cleaned last.

Was lovely. They let us access the cabin early and the hot tub was on and warm when we got there. It was lovely and clean. No one else was there so we had the place to ourselves. Right next to a working farm and was really lovely.

Wouldn't say it was a negative but a suggestion. Maybe move the hot tub to the tent around a bit so it's not on sight of the hut hot tub. Just for pirvecy. And a bo us would be some sort of gazebo or something over the hot tub so it can still be used in the rain. Mete suggestions not negatives.

It was peaceful and quiet, loved that we saw the cows coming back from the field both days. The cabin held its heat.

The bed was too small, it didn't feel like a full double bed and the mattress was too thin which made it uncomfortable. With no sink we had to wash up in the shower which was fine, however, the BBQ wasn't clean and so the sponge provided to wash up with was ruined before we started even cooking. We also had to go and buy BBQ equipment like tongs and a spatula which we actually left at the property for the next person. It was a little disappointing that the photos used to advertise the booking were not a true reflection of the property as they were clearly taken some time ago and the property hasn't aged well.
