Beautiful Location One Bedroom Residential Home

Had to put the boiler on, the heating wasn't on when I arrived, the phone number provided wasn't in use when trying to ring,

The location was convenient for the purpose of our visit. The property was warm.

The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom window didn’t shut properly, the towels were a bit old and bleach-stained.

The location, the owners were incredibly helpful; we met the cleaner on our first stay as there was a miscommunication on our arrival time, however she was lovely

If I was being pedantic I’d say the driveway is a bit too narrow with the planters on the left hand side. But I do have a large car, so thats not really fair.

The bedroom and bed were big and comfortable. The shower was hot. There was a driveway to park on.

The house was cold and the thermostat in the living room didn't work the heating, it wasn't until the next morning that I managed to get the heating to come on, by turning the boiler on in a cupboard upstairs. Although two radiators, one in the living room and the one in the bedroom stayed cold as they needed bleeding and we didn't have a key. There was no toilet roll, I didn't realise we had to bring our own. The bathroom window didn't close properly leaving a gap that caused a draught. The only cutlery there was some spoons, knives and one teaspoon. No forks. There was nowhere to hang coats to dry when you come in they just had to lay on the floor. The house could be a little gem with a little extra thought put into it.

Very clean and nice house with very friendly and attentive host

Unfortunately it was extremely cold. I believe the heating was set on a certain temperature because we tried to put it up but couldn’t, given the fact that it was December it was so cold. Also the shower was leaking so we had to constantly wipe the kitchen downstairs every time we showered. The host was very nice and attentive
