Beautiful Location One Bedroom Residential Home

Great size, quiet area, clean and comfortable

There is a light bulb missing in the living room main light and for privacy it would be nice to have blinds for the kitchen and hall at the top of the stairs - this would give better privacy when leaving the bathroom!

The location and size was just right for what we needed for the weekend.

No blinds or curtains on the landing windows, one straight opposite the bathroom door, and no coat or towel hooks but all in all very good property.

Ideal location, quiet and easy check in.

One of the kitchen cupboards was full of personal letters, the back door didn't lock, freezer was disgusting, living room overhead light didn't have a light bulb, the bedsheets were stained and the mattress sunk at the top, there was a baggie of white powder on the bedside table, a drawer in the wardrobe was broken and the bathroom door didn't shut.

Self contained

The bed was awful to sleep on! When you go on the bed it sinks and you feel like you’re on a bouncy castle. The pillows were horrible, flat and very old. I couldn’t get any sleep at all. The sofa is so old and worn it was also impossible to get comfy on. To top of our shortened stay, there were no amenities in the house, we couldn’t even go to the bathroom through lack of toilet paper and the “towel provided” was basically a hand towel and therefore struggled to do its job of drying a human body.

Nice small clean house with nearly everything we needed.

No light bulbs in lounge or stairs fittings, had to remove the bulb from the light in the bedroom to make the stairs safe in the dark. Would have been nice to have 2 stools at the breakfast bar as eating separately wasn't good. No tin opener in the kitchen. No instructions where to put used /leftover food. The house stated newly refurbished but the bathroom window wouldn't close.

Perfect for a short break in Northeast England. Lots of options for eating close by and a choice of shops for groceries. We were able to bring our dog with us and there were areas to walk him right by the property. The private driveway meant we could park with no hassle

The location was great, easy to get to things and quiet. Had most of what was needed.

No toilet paper on arrival or hand gel. Needed a dossier with helpful information such as hot water & heating instructions, washing machine instructions, Wi-Fi details, etc. The bathroom could have had roll holder and towel rails available.

The location for what we needed was ideal and it was easy to find. A bonus was the off street parking and the outside courtyard/ garden which was ideal as we had our dog with us. In a quiet residential area. Large bedroom and the bathroom has a great shower.

The divan base to the bed is completely broken which meant the mattress sags down into it. Clearly known about as was filled with pillows to boost it up - this doesn’t work. Ended up sleeping at the other end of the bed and due to this we decided to leave after two nights rather than stay our last night as we just couldn’t sleep well. To be picky, it would have been nice to have had toilet roll left and a bin liner for the bin. Fridge still had left over items in from previous guests which wasn’t great! Overall, needs a little TLC but expected for a holiday home. A few of the windows could do with some blinds for more privacy from the overlooking houses.

Great little find, in a lovely quiet estate. Close to amenities (shopping centre, train station). Everything you need for a short stay. Great value too.

There are a few bits of finishing touches that are needed but nothing major, just a lick of paint here and there. Maybe have a welcome sheet to let customers know where things are and how things work.
